What if.....the sun fell down? - Worries
A hand trying to hold up the sun... what if it falls down or something? What if it does not rise again the next day?
This reminds me so much of worries of everyday life. Worries I used to have and worries I sometimes still have. If you saw me couple years back, you would say that I was the most worried person on earth (:oO Worried about anything and everything - friends, no-friends, the weather, family, life, the future, the past.... you name it.
But then.... life went on and I met this man, a very wise one. He taught me a lot about life and a lot about the true Life. In His Book, he says, 'Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body; what you will put on....Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they?'
You can imagine how much peace His words added to my life. Just knowing that God loves me and will provide for me what I need is very encouraging. I still cannot fully comprehend how God manages to provide for all of us.... It is amazing.
The man I met is Jesus and his book is the Bible. He taught me that God loves me, and that trusting him is the best I can do with my life.
